Christina Harper
Rooted in her dedication to public service, Christina serves as lead for Ghana Aid, building its United States diplomacy and engagement efforts. Her extensive professional background includes senior leadership roles with local and federal government, campaigns, institutions of higher education, and the private sector. An alumni of Obama for America 2012, and a former cabinet member with the Government of the District of Columbia, Christina has built a career and reputation as a strategist and connector that specializes in external affairs, community building, and strategic planning. No stranger to the front lines, Christina has been a national speaker on business and community development, public policy, as well as serving in multiple capacities as chief spokesperson for press and media engagement. Her speaking engagements have mirrored her professional memberships as she has served as a Congressional Scholar with the Truman National Security Project, alumna of the Congressional Black Caucus Institute’s Political Education & Campaign Boot Camp and Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, and graduate of the U.S. Foreign Policy Summer Graduate Institute with George Washington University. Christina earned her masters in Mass Communications & Media Studies and a graduate certificate in International Studies from the illustrious Howard University in Washington, D.C. A child of the diaspora, Christina made her return to Ghana in 2019 during the Year of Return, and continues to frequent and plant roots in Ghana.
